This is me on a fairly good day .... I never was a real beauty but Max sure was. Max is my white schnauzer that passed away a few years ago.Since January was my birthday month and the year to renew my driver license (I always thought it was driver's license until I looked on the form) but anyway, being sick for 6 weeks with one virus or another I put it off until the end ... when I had a cold and fever blister.
Yes, I know I can renew online but I wanted to get rid of the old driver license photo that I thought was the worst one ever. Well, by the end of the month I looked like this ...
I told my sister I should have a shotgun photoshopped in this picture, post it on my fence out side, put up one of those "we don't call 911" signs and I would keep away the riffraff forever!

DeleteMy January face had yours beat, but I can see why you didn't want to head down to the Motor Vehicles Department. Although...they have such a knack for taking the most awful pictures, maybe it would also work the other way. I do hope you feel better soon! BTW, you are adorable and so young looking!
ReplyDeleteOlga, you are a sweetie! I don't think I have ever been called adorable before in my life! That top photo is 3 years old but when I am not sick I look pretty much the same. I have often been told I look younger than I am. I always say Dove soap, and keeping my skin out of the sun must do it. Have always spent my time reading instead of out getting a tan ... yet I came up with skin cancer last year.

DeleteGood one! DH just renewed his driver (who knew?!) license. He had to take the drive test too, since he's turning 75. Of course he combs thinning hair, etc.... Since they no longer let you smile, he looks like a convict. And how DO they make your face appear stretched on one side? Perhaps if you go IN looking wonky, it'll work in reverse? I'll give that a try next year.
