On Saturday the high was 89 degrees and my redbud tree bloomed out.
On Sunday it was in the high 70's and warm enough I had the A/C on until the evening. I took the photos of the elm trees budding and the redbud flowering yesterday afternoon to post with 7 things.
On Monday morning at 3:04 a.m. my dog wanted outside and this is what we saw:
I finally broke down Saturday and switched my heating and air over to Air conditioning. This morning I am regretting the choice. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
ReplyDeleteWe have had the same kind of crazy weather here....mid-70s on Saturday and about 5 inches of snow on Sunday. I do believe it is time for spring to show up and stay around for a while.
ReplyDeleteSo true. I seem to carry around my own weather system as well. I can go from shivering to sweating sitting in the same room with a constant temperature.
ReplyDeleteMy body thermostat does the same thing. Drives me crazy!
DeleteI know. We had high 70's yesterday and freezing temps are due for the next two days. I really feel for the two hummers that arrived today. They are drinking cold nectar.
ReplyDeleteAren't we all just ready for Spring?! Easter weekend we are suppose to have another little snow. We need the moisture so no one is complaining.
DeleteThank you for straightening me out about where you live. While I might understand the Texas panhandle being brown, I would not expect snow in April!!!
ReplyDeleteWe always have a snow in April right before Easter, no matter when Easter is. It almost always snows just as lilacs bloom, or fruit trees bud out. We don't dare plant anything outside until Mothers Day, although at least once in the past decade we have had snow in May. Our nights stay cold. Last night was 27 degrees.
