Noon on Sunday out my apartment door..... it has stopped snowing ... an hour ago we could barely see across the street. Grandsons here, chili cooking, apartment is warm, all is well. :)
Did someone forget to tell the weather gods that it's no supposed to be bitter cold and snow there? So far, we are jus experiencing a bit colder weather than usual, and no precipitation.
We always have bitter cold and snow in the winter. I live in the panhandle of Texas. Our weatherman says the only thing between us and the North Pole is a barb wire fence and a lot of wind!
Just read several pages of your posts and enjoyed reading what's been going on in your life. We have a lot in common. We both love dogs, prefer to stay home, can't write when depressed, may shed wet tears and snot in public if sufficiently moved to sadness or happiness, have doctors who don't think twice about prescribing ridiculously priced medications we can't afford, frequently vow to give up sugar. You get more snow, I probably get more mildew, and my grandchildren are already grown, but except for those things...hello, sister-friend.
We have our winter cold also. Plus my grandson is coming on the weekend to stay with me through Thanksgiving and help me get ready for all the other guests. He is a newly graduated chef so I will really be able to use his help. I know you're having a good time!

ReplyDeleteHope your holidays were happy. We have snow right now and it is really cold. Some chili sounds like a first rate idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting on my blog. I rushed over here thinking you may have returned in my absence. Wish you were still blogging. Miss you.
