And That Just Sums It All Up!

Remember back on February 3rd I posted that I wanted all my February posts to be either funny or uplifting?? Well, I didn't plan on my little Gracie passing away ten days later.  Not too much laughing going on at my house today but I am going to try to think happy thoughts.
As one of my blogger friends posted, I am going to try to pick myself up, put my tutu on, and turn myself around.  Here is a funny photo of Andy.  He has to wear an inflatable "cone" so he can't lick....  This is what he thinks about the whole situation!  Me too, Andy, me too.

  1. All he needs is an indoor swimming pool and he would be all set for a swim.

  2. Aww, Betsy, I am so very sorry to read about Gracie. What a dreadful loss and I know how those things hurt. They just steal our hearts only to break them with their short lifespans. I am glad you have Andy to hold--if gingerly.
Holding a warm furry body helps.

    1. Thank you, Patti. I have missed your posts ... I hope all is well with you. Yes, I am glad I still have Andy and Zoe to hold, don't know how I would make it without them.

  3. Rest assured my Slim is getting lots of extra hugs and kisses these days. Wish she could go over to your house and play with Andy. We are sad for you both. Hugs and Kisses to you.

    1. Yes, my kids, grandkids and I have lots of funny and happy memories about little Gracie. We will laugh about those and feel blessed to have had her in our lives. I felt kind of bad even posting about it when you have suffered such a far greater loss. This hurts so bad I can not even imagine what your pain must be like.

    1. My daughter, Casey -- Andy's momma, got the inflatable cone at PetCo. It is covered in fabric, does the job, plus makes sort of a pillow for his head when he sleeps. His own collar loops through the inside ring and holds it on his neck. If you ever need a cone I suggest this one, altho we have no experience with the hard cones.
